ARTISTIC VISION & APPROACH
Charting my own course as an independent choreographer from the young age of 19, has shaped my belief in the creative versatility of ballet and its vital role as part of the progressive theatre.
Dancers are at the heart of my approach because it is through the dancer’s body – their brilliance and expressive powers that the work truly comes alive.
Music has been constant source of inspiration in my life and continues to move me; shaping the work I create.
Collaborators have made me a better choreographer. Realising a ballet is about creating a coherent world – where dance, music, design unite to realise something larger than itself.
